      Public Policy in Texas! Public Policy Challenges Texas is home to a large and diverse population. Some families have lived in the state since Texas was its own Republic – or earlier. Others are very recent transplants from all over the country and even the world. What does it mean to be a Texan? Mass Humanities funds the development of thought-provoking public humanities projects for Massachusetts audiences, bringing people together to explore the history, culture, values and beliefs that matter to communities in our state. The primary goals of our grants program are to: Ensure the humanities are part of the Bay State’s social fabric.
